In this issue of Zeus Technology Magazine we focus our attention on underground coal gasification (UCG) projects in Australia. There has been a "water scare" related to the Cougar Energy (Cougar) UCG project near Kingaroy in Queensland.

Water bore samples at and near the Kingaroy site showed traces of benzene and toluene – but there has been some confusion as to whether laboratory tests of the water bore samples were properly conducted. ... Read more
